West and East

The event “West and East” takes place as part of the cultural week “The Paths of the Sea” and includes:

• Concert
  Tribute to the songs of the company, through the music of Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Loizos, Stamatis Spanoudakis, and Dimitris Lagios.
• Art Exhibition
  Artworks with a main theme of the sea, featuring artists: Akis Vasilopoulos, Georgia Giachou, George Kanelakis, Vasilis Kolokythas, Theodoros Mallias, Niki Malathrassiti, Nikos Michos, and works by Demiris Joseph (in memoriam).
• Poetry Readings
  Zoi Iliopoulou – Greek-Canadian Congress Press Officer
  Gogo Petropoulou – Director of the French Institute in Patras
  Anna Livathinou – Educator
  Theodoros Mallias – President of the “Kostis Palamas” Association of Fine Arts in Patras
  Maria Gioka – Board Member of the Cultural Association of Kastellokampos
