Grigoris Papatheodorou<\/strong> was born in Agrinio in 1929 and grew up in Patras.<\/p>\n

He was a self-taught painter and, from a very young age, worked professionally across various fields of art, including sign painting, shop decoration, church decoration, and iconography.<\/p>\n

He also worked in theatrical set design. From 1955 to 1966, he was the main constructor of floats for the Patras Carnival.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he created a number of unconventional paintings for his personal practice.<\/p>\n

In 1970, after his works were seen by both Greek and international figures, an exhibition was organized for him in London (Agora Gallery, 1970), which achieved great success.<\/p>\n

Following this, the Australian airline QANTAS<\/strong> undertook to present his works in various parts of the world.<\/p>\n

After this first major success, he held a series of solo exhibitions (Athens, Patras, London, Stockholm, Thessaloniki), as well as numerous group exhibitions.<\/p>\n

In 1978, he received the First Prize for Tourism and Culture of Mediterranean Countries.<\/p>\n

In the same year, he received a letter from the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge requesting his biography.<\/p>\n

His name is included in the Who\u2019s Who<\/em> directory of London.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
