{"id":14833,"date":"2025-10-04T13:21:56","date_gmt":"2025-10-04T10:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olympismculture.com\/product\/14833\/"},"modified":"2026-05-30T11:44:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-30T08:44:53","slug":"14833","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/olympismculture.com\/en\/product\/14833\/","title":{"rendered":"Bouka of Thasos &#8211; Vassilis Kolokithas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"140\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"31\">Born and residing in Patras<\/strong>, he took his first painting lessons in the workshop of the Thessaloniki-based painter <strong data-start=\"118\" data-end=\"139\">Dimitris Vergidis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"142\" data-end=\"199\">There he met <strong data-start=\"155\" data-end=\"171\">Keita Loutsa<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"198\">Thanasis Karamytas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"201\" data-end=\"408\">However, the artist who truly defined the tone and deep aesthetic character of his visual art\u2014imbuing it with a sense of light enriched by Greek countryside, tradition, and spirit\u2014was <strong data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"407\">Georgios Kouzounis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"410\" data-end=\"590\">His works are characterized by a rich sense of joy, filled with the brightness of Greek light, while also carrying a strong ethnographic quality, reminiscent of modern Greek prose.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"592\" data-end=\"680\">Thus, <strong data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"620\">Vasilis Kolokythas<\/strong> has since followed an expressionist outdoor painting style.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"829\">He is nationally recognized through his exhibitions, and his works are included in major private collections of Greek and international collectors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"921\">He holds a degree in Physical Education from the <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"920\">Aristotle University of Thessaloniki<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1147\">Vasilis impresses with the dynamic power of his use of color, leaving a strong personal imprint on art.
