Honor and Support Event in Patras: A Tribute through Olympic Memorabilia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Hellenic Canadian Congress of Canada<\/strong>, the Kostis Palamas Center for Culture and Olympism<\/strong>, and the Fine Arts Association of Patras \u201cKostis Palamas\u201d<\/strong>
are delighted to invite you to a special cultural event on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 8:00 PM<\/strong>,
at the “Gallery Odeio”<\/strong> of the Kostis Palamas Center for Culture and Olympism
(30 Germanou Street, opposite the Roman Odeon, Patras).<\/p>\n

Honoring Aris Babikian<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The event will pay tribute to Aris Babikian<\/strong>, Member of the Ontario Parliament in Canada, philhellene, and passionate advocate for the recognition of the Armenian and Greek genocides in Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n

This evening will also highlight the strengthening of ties between the Hellenic communities of Canada\u2014through the Hellenic Canadian Congress of Montreal\u2014and the cultural and social institutions of Patras.<\/p>\n

Artistic works inspired by Olympism, alongside a unique showcase of Olympic torches.<\/p>\n

This event is held under the auspices of the Region of Western Greece and the Municipality of Patras.<\/p>\n
