Description
Hephaestus, according to Greek mythology, was one of the major Olympian gods of the ancient Twelve Olympians. He is the god of celestial fire, earthly fire, and of any craft or art involving fire, such as bronze-working and, more generally, metallurgy. According to Homer’s Iliad, he is the son of Zeus and Hera.
