A SUCCESSFUL TWO-DAY CULTURAL EVENT AT THE “GALLERY ODEIO” OF THE CULTURAL AND OLYMPIC CENTER “KOSTIS PALAMAS”
A highly successful two-day series of cultural events was held on March 20–21, 2026, at the “Gallery Odeio” of the Cultural and Olympic Center “Kostis Palamas”, within the framework of World Poetry Day and the Annual Exhibition of the Association of Fine Arts of Patras “Kostis Palamas”.
The event featured the distinguished participation of the internationally recognized geopolitical scientist, artist, and poet, Emeritus Professor of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Ioannis Mazis, as the honored guest.
A large number of citizens from the fields of art and literature experienced meaningful moments through the presentation of his poetry collection “Algunos Tangos”, as well as his book “Geopolitics and Contemporary Art”, both presented by the distinguished Emeritus Professor, poet, and artist Ioannis Mazis.
The event highlighted the intersection of art, poetry, and geopolitical thought, offering a rich cultural experience and reaffirming the importance of artistic expression as a bridge between knowledge, creativity, and contemporary reflection.
