In a particularly artistic and friendly atmosphere, flooded with Dionysian décor from the renowned exhibition of the well-known artist Dimitris Vourtsis, and accompanied by numerous friends of Art and Culture, the founding member and honorary president of the Patras Fine Arts Association “Kostis Palamas,” Dimitris Vourtsis, was honored.
An impressive and at the same time moving audiovisual presentation of the work and life of the carnival construction legend Dimitris Vourtsis was given by the President of the Patras Fine Arts Association “Kostis Palamas,” Theodoros Mallias, who shared special memorable moments from their 60-year friendship, touching the attending guests.
Constructive dialogues among experienced carnival participants about the future of the Patras Carnival tradition, guided by the advisory expertise of the most experienced carnival float constructor Dimitris Vourtsis, were accompanied by delightful treats and excellent wine.
The artist Dimitris Vourtsis lovingly signed his works for the art-loving buyers.
