Description

In Greek mythology, the Minotaur was a mythical creature with the body of a man and the head and tail of a bull. Beyond this descriptive name, the Minotaur was called Asterius. It is sometimes also depicted as a bull with a human torso, in contrast to the Centaur. It lived in the Labyrinth, a structure built by Daedalus on the orders of King Minos of Crete.
