Writer’s Biography:

Alexandra Goudi holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Patras (2025). Her research focuses on business networks and innovation in remote regions, with particular emphasis on geographical indication (GI) agri-food products.

She studied Economics at the University of Essex, earning both a BA and an MSc in Financial & Business Economics. She has worked as a researcher at the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research (IOBE) and the University of Patras, contributing to research projects and initiatives in entrepreneurship, regional development, and innovation.

In parallel, she has been actively involved with TEDxPatras for many years, serving in co-organizing, content curation, and speaker support roles. She is also the author of two city guides for Patras.

Since 2025, she has been a member of the Special Educational Staff (E.DI.P.) at the Department of Business Administration, University of Patras. Her research interests include agricultural policy, agri-food systems, regional economic development, business network and collaboration analysis, consumer behavior, innovation, and technological adaptation.
