“Confinement” – Paraskevi Fototpoulou

Artist Biography:

She was born and raised in Evinochori, Messolonghi. She studied in Athens and Thessaloniki. She worked in engineering firms as a Technological Engineer, at the Ministry of Finance, and as a kindergarten teacher. She was taught drawing at school, but it was color that she truly loved, and she began painting with the help of coloring books. Now retired, she has attended painting courses in Messolonghi and Patras in recent years, where she has also participated in group exhibitions. Since March 2025, she has been a member of the Fine Arts Association of Patras “Kostis Palamas.”

As she herself says, painting for her is communication, joy, learning, and creation. It beautifies the present and spreads colors into the future.
