ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Tasos Giannopoulos was born in Pyrgella, Argos, in 1942.
He studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE) and also attended free painting classes. He spoke French, English, and German. During the period 1960–1975, he worked as an employee in commercial and insurance companies, while simultaneously pursuing painting.
From 1976 onwards, he presented his works in private galleries, municipal art galleries, museums, as well as in solo and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
He was a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece. He passed away in 2005.
